CHINESE TRADITIONAL MEDICINE AND ACUPUNCTURE (English edition)

n.p.: Privately published, 1998. First Edition. Soft cover. Collectible Very Good. Apparently the first printing and I have no knowledge of any other printings. English edition, whether first or not is not stated in English. Glossy white/cream 4to wraps with black titles. 279pp + 18 added pages titled, "Heart Attacks: The Leading Cause of Death Among Men. Presentation copy "To Dear L_____ / Sir (Gong's signature) / Aug. 98." His red block stamp (I am assuming as I do no normally deal in this material) with characters applied next to his name. Faint red ink from stamp on facing inside cover. Gong's signature on the last page appears be original but I'm not perfectly sure. The cover title is: HEALTH AND LIFE and is both in English and Chinese, as is his name. The date of July 1998 is also part of the cover title information. Laid in and folded are six printed or photocopied sheets about "Gong's Chinese Acupuncture-25 Years of Successfully Treating Pain & Illness in Western NY." The last sheet of the group is a "TO WHOM IT MAY CONCERN" letter (copy) with copy signature of Edward Jackson. It is some sort of sworn affidavit sign further by Jackson and also a Notary Public of the State of New York. It describes the healing of prostate cancer of the signee because of the use of acupuncture by Dr. Gong. This appears to be a very scarce item. Some copies of Dr. Gong's similar works appear on the internet, but not this one. I find no copies in global libraries. Vg copy with minor toning to covers and a crease upper fore corner of front cover.
