Boston, MA: Chinese Service Bureau, 1948. Published 1948, signed by the author on the front free endpaper. In English. Introduction to Chinese culture. Chinese Service Bureau stamp over the original publisher name, Bruce Humphries, also stamped on inside rear cover and inner dustjacket flaps. Dark rust colored cloth, color frontis illustration, other illustrations in black and white, illustrated dustjacket. Some very light edgewear, good hinges, sound text block, a few creased pages, pages clean with no other names or markings. The mylar protected dustjacket is not priceclipped [2.50] and has some light shelf soil to the white background, a few very minor chips.. Signed by the Author. Hard Cover. Good/Very Good. 8vo - over 7¾" - 9¾" tall.
