Dustjacket neatly separated at front spine-fold; unclipped, with shallow chipping, wear, and creasing to extremities, with several short tears, rubbing along joints, and a faint diagonal crease along rear panel; Good. A labor novel chronicling the life of an Italian bricklayer in the slums of New York, preceded by an excerpt appearing in Esquire Magazine in 1937.
