About This Item

New York: Harper & Row, 1967. This Stated First American Edition, (and, unless it's stated, it's not) is in Fine condition with a Near Fine price-unclipped dust jacket. The dust jacket has light rubbing, a small spine tear, and a tiny circular stain under the author's name on the front panel (see photo). I've placed the dust jacket into an archival Brodart protective sleeve. The author surveys the complete range of Bonhoeffer's theology 00 its beginnings, its development, and how it was changed by his response to Nazi Germany. The book is bound in a woven sky-blue cloth, with die-stamped gilt spine titles. The binding is tight and secure, and the text is clean and bright throughout. The book measures 5 3/8 by 8 1/2 inches and includes 303 pages, with Index.. First Edition. Hard Cover. Fine/Near Fine. 8vo - over 7¾" - 9¾" tall.
