The second of two volumes, this one containing three chapters: "False Modesty in Religion," "The Duty of Christian Affection between Ministers and their Flock," and "Comparative View of Natural and Revealed Religion." Marbled boards w/leather backstrip/corners, raised bands to spine, gilt rule/lettering to same, 303 pages. Edgewear all around, corners/spine ends worn/chipped, spine moderately sunned, leather chipped/torn on spine, previous owner's bookplate to front end paper, hinges no longer tight (not entirely split, either), foxing, tape stains to corners of end papers, a few turned corners. Internally still quite tight and fairly clean..
