Macmillan and Co., Limited, 1948. Hardcover. Acceptable. 1948. Reprint. 179 pages. No dust jacket. Green cloth with gilt lettering. Black and white illustrations throughout. Pages are mildly tanned with light foxing. Mild cracking to gutters, however binding remains firm. Scribbled out inscription to title page and p. vi. Pen mark to page from p.172 to rear endpaper. Mild water staining to pages throughout. Some illustrations have been coloured in. Boards have light edgewear with corner crushing and notable marking to boards. Mild tanning to board edges and spine, which has mild crushing to ends. Moderate water stains to boards. Ring marks to front board. Boards are mildly warped.
