London William Heinemann Ltd. 1915 1st edition. Hardback. Size approx 8 x 6 inches. In purple cloth covers with gilt lettering and illustrated decoration to spine and front cover. WITH RARE ORIGINAL DUSTWRAPPER. Top edges coloured. Illustrated endpapers. In very good condition in good wrapper (DW A lightly rubbed on edges, a few chips top edge with slight loss.) Bright boards. Spine & Gilt lettering lightly faded. Some slight darkening/light foxing to pages. Frontis very slightly crinkled inner edge. Else pages generally clean and tight throughout. 147pp; 12 colour plates and many b&w illustrations by Arthur Rackham. Scarce in dustwrappers.
