A collection interwoven tales, mainly Christmas related, for young people. Translated from the German of Christoph Schmid, Canon of Augsberg. Cloth is well soiled thought the spine gilt is fairly bright; well foxed throughout; prev. own. sig. ffep and further gift inscr. form a grandmother to her grandson dated 1874 on blank obverse of the frontis.
