Edge and corner wear, scuffed and scratched, corners are bumped and rubbed, spine is faded as well as the edges, front hinge is cracked, shelf worn, overall a clean vintage first edition! Wonderfully well-preserved! Very very rare and hard-to-find! Faded decorative purple cloth with gilt lettering on the front cover. Extremely scarce and out-of-print! 45 unmarked and uncreased historical and inspirational pages! Frontis is a black and white illustration of the family around the Christmas Tree. "It was Christmas Eve, and the young folks at Holly-Tree House were in a state of the greatest excitement. For a whole fortnight nothing had been talked of among them but the beautiful Christmas Tree papa had promised them on Christmas Eve.....". First Edition / First Printing. Purple Decorative Cloth .
