Montreal: John Lovell & Son, Limited, Publishers, 1928. First edition. Hardcover in dustjacket, 175 pages, with frontispiece of Ephraim Scott. A Very Good copy bound in burgundy cloth, gilt lettered on front and spine. Cloth of back board has been damp-stained at some point but is now dry and clean. No inscription or book-plate and text is clean and unmarked. Laid in is the scarce sixteen-page booklet 'Postscript to "Church Union" and the Presbyterian Church in Canada', also by Ephraim Scott. In the very scarce dustjacket which is Fair to Good only, being heavily chipped along the top edge and now protected in a clear mylar sleeve. Scarce with both booklet and jacket..
