Additionally, an early prev. owner has neatly pasted-in (at blank adjoining page versos) several 19th century pictorial clippings (smaller plates) that give additional views of each church and surroundings, mostly b/w etchings, but one a vividly coloured chromolithographic. Origins of clippings not stated, but they appear to be from other mid-19th C. books or periodicals Prev. owner 1891 inscription to title page. Light occasional foxing, milder foxing to the plate outer borders. Etchings themselves all clean. Binding sound. A splendid array of the county's ancient churches, VG+
