New York: Fawcett Crest. Mass Market Paperback. Very Good/No Jacket. 12mo - over 6¾" - 7¾" tall. 7" tall white pocket paperback. Light bumping along edges and corners of cover. Short tear along bottom front spine area. Light scratching and general shelf wear to cover. Cover in Fair to Good condition. Small numbers stamped on top and bottom of page edges. A couple of small areas on the outside pages edges that are faded. May have been exposed to moisture. Pages are tight; clean/unmarked except for pages 18 & 19 which appear to have had something brownish dribbled on them. You can still read the pages just fine.. 255 pages. Copyrights listed as 1929, 1930, 1957, 1958. This book has number line "15 - 6." This book is showing shelf and reading wear but overall is in Good Plus to Very good condition. Not in collectible condition.

Synopsis

Edna Ferber was an American novelist, short story writer and playwright. Her bestselling novels were especially popular and included the Pulitzer Prize-winning So Big , Show Boat , Giant , and Cimarron , which was made into the 1931 film that won the Academy Award for Best Picture. She died in 1968.
