Fine in red stapled wrappers, 16 pp. OCLC locates only 2 copies, at Syracuse University and the Lilly Library with Madeline Kripke's copy, recently acquired. "Self-published by George Brinton Beal in 1956, this Circus Glossary is one example of the numerous rare materials in the Kripke Collection documenting terms specific to an industry or community of people. At the time of his death in 1957, Beal was quite famous for his writings about circus life, earning him the moniker, "Beal of Boston, the Circus Mans Friend." (Michelle Crowe, Lilly Library, October 14, 2021). Reprint. Pamphlet. Fine/No Jacket, As Issued. 5 1/2" x 4 1/2".
