Volume 1 has been rebound and recovered with black library cloth and white lettering on spine. Title page is separating from text block but otherwise is about Fine (except for ex library marks). Volume 2 has the original cover. Bottom inch-and-a-half of the cover is missing from spine; top of spine is chipped away; cloth is worn from tips of corners; front cover ripples as if minor exposure to moisture. Endpaper is starting at hinges. Clean except for ex library marks. Bottom inch or so has been exposed to moisture and some pages have a faint stain; pages undulate a little. A not-so-attractive, but very usable set. 5.5x8
