Larger, sturdy books, blue and gray halves in cloth covers, white illustrations of sail ships at top front right, white and red lettering very fine, gilt lettering bright on spines, a map of World Trade Routes inside covers and adjacent end papers where Confederate raiders lurked, 490 pages with a glossy photo section.Volume Two: DJ heavy cream paper, black and red lettering, a purple sailship illustrated at front right, praise for Volume One on back. DJ has a light round coffee cup stain at center front. Volume Three: entitled "The Final Effort" dated 1962 (1st). Larger, sturdy book with blue and gray cloth covers, 456 pages, including a glossy photo section. DJ heavy cream paper, orange ships illustrated on front, praise on back. An incomplete set, Near Very Good DJs/Fine books.
