Inscription by former owner on half-title page. Stiff wraps are glossy, gray with blue striped borders, with illustration-Original lithograph of the Rich Mountain Battle. Very clean, faint wear to edges, binding hinged, solid and square. Internals as new. Historic photographs from many sources on every page, with explanatory text on many. There are historic photos and illustrations of battles, roads, railroads, towns, rivers, Harpers Ferry in 1861, guerilla fighters, Camp Garnett, Buffington Island, etc. 170 pages. 4to. 1982, Pictorial Histories Publishing Company.
