London: William Pickering, 1845. vii, [1], 288pp, later full calf, raised bands, spine in six panels, leather title label to second panel, remaining panels with volute corner pieces and flower heads to centres, covers with single fillet bordering a blind seed head roll and flower corner pieces, gilt roll to edges and inner edges, marbled endpapers and all edges marbled. Slightly rubbed to extremities, some minor discolouring to head of lower cover. Head of ffep and reverse of front marbled endpaper water stained, previous owners' name to reverse of front marbled endpaper, otherwise quite bright and clean.
