Lavishly illustrated in the medieval style by Evelyn Paul with 8 full page color plates, 8 tipped in textual color plates and other decorations, including historiated initials. Music by Alfred Mercer. In publisher's brown cloth blocked in gilt on the spine and upper board with a full color past-on on the upper board in a design by the illustrator. Top edge gilt. Decorated endpapers. Illustrations and title printed in multiple colors, including silver.
Offset from the front endpaper to the title (this seems to be typical), else a fine, bright copy.
Stories of King Arthur's knights, tournaments and the Holy Grail.
