Illustrations by the author in colour and black-and-white.Presentation copy from the author, inscribed by him on the half-title page: ''To John and Myfanwy with love from Osbert.'' The recipients are his friends John Piper and his wife. Lancaster and Piper worked together on creating the centrepiece for the Festival Gardens on the South Bank in 1951 and it was through their association that Lancaster became a stage designer.Head and tail of spine slightly dusty. Very good indeed in very good indeed, slightly nicked dustwrapper.
