The Claw of the Conciliator: Volume Two of the Book of the New Sun

NOTE: This copy is NOT signed and numbered. (I am in the process of liquidating some of my Gene Wolfe collection. I also have a full four-volume set available.)
The Claw of the Conciliator bVolume Two of the Book of the New Sun by Gene Wolfe Hardcover First Deluxe Illustrated Edition Illustrated by Alexander Preuss. Centipede Press 2009. Folio limited to 100 copies in slipcase without dust jacket as issued. This copy appears to be an overrun copy as its not signed and numbered. It appears to have the same page as the signature page but blank. Still an incredibly difficult book to find in any state, signed or otherwise. (I would probably be asking $1500 if this was one of the signed examples)

Fine in Fine- Slipcase without dust jacket as issued. Only shortcoming: the "T" in "The" at the beginning of the title on the spine appears to be partially broken on the right-hand side of the crossbeam. Slipcase is solid with a few common dust spots.
NOTE on edition: The Book of the New Sun series was published by Timescape (a subsidiary of Simon & Schuster US) and Sidgwick & Jackson UK from 1980 to 1983. In the US The Shadow of the Torturer (4000 copies), The Claw of the Conciliator and Sword of the Lictor (6000 copies each) and ending with The Citadel of the Autarch (about 10,000 copies). No other trade hardcover editions of these books appeared in English until the 21st century. (There were separate book club editions and one bc omnibus from circa 2000.) From 2007 to 2012, Centipede Press did a 100-copy limited edition of each of the BOTNS titles in large format which are almost impossible to find and typically priced at $1000+ each when they come on the market. At 100 copies plus a few overrun copies, these books are SCARCE. $10.00 shipping and confirmation in the U.S. only via media mail (7-10 days) or $15.00 priority mail flat-rate medium box (3-5 days).
