Brownish cloth with baseball players in white on the front cover and spine. 322 pp. Black and white illustrations and color frontispiece present, all as called for. This first work in this juvenile series on baseball and life lessons learned from the game. GOOD condition. Minor fading, soiling and a few small spots of discoloration to the covers. Light bumping and scuffing to the extremities. Previous owner's signature present. Faint dampstain affecting the upper portion of most of the pages throughout. Scattered foxing.
