"With Cochrane the Dauntless" - A Tale of the Exploits of Lord Cochrane in South American Waters by G.A. Henty. 1896 1st American edition; Charles Scribner's Sons; New York. The book features 12 full-page illustrations by W.H. Margetson (all are present). There is a 32-page publisher's catalog at the back.

Condition:
There is some "bubbling" beneath the cloth at the bottom-left corner of the front cover, and at the bottom edge of the back cover. Tight binding with no loose pages. There is a crack at the rear hinge between the end papers resulting in the back cover being just a bit shaky. Small cloth tear at two of the cover corners. Initials written in red ink on the title page. Light stain at the upper-outer corner of pages 266-268. Some random, light smudges found. Small stain at the bottom-right corner of page 77. Page 106 has a 1" tear at the bottom edge. There are a few small tears at the outer edge of pages 74 & 79. Name written in pencil in old handwriting on front end paper. Overall the book is in Good- condition.
