SIGNED PRESENTATION COPY FROM THE AUTHOR. 8vo, approximately 220 x 140 mm, 8¾ x 5½ inches, map and 140 text illustrations, pages: xvi. 1-515 plus 2 pages of adverts, original publisher's russet brown cloth, gilt lettering and decoration to spine, gilt Cocoa Bean on upper cover, edges stained to match colour of binding. Spine slightly darkened, small indentation to spine, lower corner of upper cover bumped, endpapers and pastedowns have pale age-browning, otherwise a good sturdy clean copy.
