London: Longmans, Green, and Co. 1875, 1870, 1871. 8vo. 10 volumes. Half light brown calf over marbled boards, with raised bands, red and green title labels, gilt lettering and decoration to spines; marbled endpapers, all edges marbled. Rubbing to bottom edges of boards and a few minor scratches and marks to leather, occasional slight rubbing to boards. Bookplates to front pastedowns. Internally clean across all the volumes. Author portrait frontispiece in volume I. A nice library set of almost all of Disraeli's works: published in 1870/71, this is complete in 10 volumes - in 1880, Endymion was published and in 1881 added as a supplementary volume to the collected set. Disraeli was one of the most pouplar authors of his day, as well as being twice Prime Minister, the first person of Jewish heritage to hold the office. Contains: Lothair. Coningsby, or The New Generation. Sybil, or The Two Nations. Tancred, or The New Crusade. Venetia. Henrietta Temple: A Love Story. Contarini Fleming: A Psychological Romance; The Rise of Iskander. Prices are in sterling, and are subject to availability. We can accept bank transfers in Sterling, Euros, US and AUS dollars. We ship priority shipping as standard, and pack our books well. Courier services available. We are also able to offer same day delivery within London postcodes for some orders - ask for a quote. Valuable items will be sent via registered airmail or one of the courier services. Large orders can be sent via consolidation, which reduces the cost per book. In the unlikely event of an incorrect description, a full refund will be provided, but please e-mail/telephone first, and within seven days of receipt of the book. We are happy to comply to the EU's rules on distance selling. All books are published in London and 8vo unless stated, and remain my property until paid for in full.
