Black & Gold Edition, first impression, with black coated endpapers and blue strips on the spine. 5 3/4 in. x 8 3/4 in., frontispiece portrait by Siqueiros, xxxiii, Walker Evans photo-portrait at p. 58, a few ink notations at pp.128-129. Black cloth with decorations in gold & blue, gilt titling, yellow, pictorial dustjacket with Siqueiros portrait on the front panel, ads on the back panel. The dustjacket edges show some chipping, tape repairs, wear. This book belonged to Betty Crane Madden. From the collection of Vivian Pemberton, Emeritus Professor of English, Kent State University. [Schwartz & Schweik A 4.4].
