New York & Washington: The Neale Publishing Company, 1912. Number 63 of 250 signed sets. 12 vols., royal octavo, various paginations. 11 of the volumes numbered 63 of 250, with vol. VI from the trade edition, in cloth. Signed by Bierce in the prelims of Vol. I, preceding the portrait frontis. Uniformly bound in beautiful brown morocco paneled in gilt and blind, gilt initials "AB" on front covers, gilt dentelles, maroon moiré silk linings, g.e. Some occasional rubbing and wear to edges of boards and spines, but generally a very good or better set.
Luxurious, deluxe signed edition of the works of the influential American writer and Civil War veteran, Ambrose Bierce (1842-1914). Bierce mysteriously disappeared in Mexico two years after the final volume of this collection was published.
