Ffep is torn at the upper left corner, with loss, from separating the ffep and the half title page at the gutter; Most of the textblock is moisture stained to some degree at the upper left corner from a long ago water spill, but many pages are only lightly affected and no other pages are stuck together. The unique cloth binding has a large circular cutout on the front board, showing the metal calipers (the McDonald Calibrator) mounted in the center of a color wheel on glossy cardboard; Textblock is 123p., with bibliography and index.
