About This Item

New York, NY, U.S.A.: Hard Case Crime/Dorchester Publishing Co., 2005. Book. Illus. by Glen Orbik. Very Good. Mass Market Paperback. First Edition/First Printing. A square solid copy. This copy has some cover edge wear, light rubbing, lightish soil to the edge of the text block. While there is nothing noted on the publisher's website several dealers have mentioned in their listings for this title that the number code 50599 in the UPC code area on the back cover indicates a first printing. This copy has that code. This code actually changes to the number 05584 on later printings. You would think that publishers would make it a little less complicated and just include the information on the CP page. The TV program Haven is loosely based on this book. PBO. This copy contains the Grifter's Game error on page 159. THIS COPY IS IN MY POSSESSION AND NORMALLY SHIPS NEXT DAY. An OK copy of a book that is not that easy to find anymore. .

Synopsis

The Colorado Kid is a mystery novel written by Stephen King for the Hard Case Crime imprint, published in 2005. The book was issued in one paperback-only edition by the specialty crime and mystery publishing house. The third-person narrative concerns the investigation of the body of an unidentified man found on a tiny island off the coast of Maine. Lacking any identification or obvious clues, the case reaches nothing but repeated dead-ends.
