Buffalo: J. B. Young & Co, 1898. Hardcover. Fair. Pages 72-104. 34 cm. 12 p. of b&w illustrations, some coloured (some probably by a former owner). Red cloth with black print. Covers soiled with some wrinkling to cloth. Leaflets glued to pastedowns. Both hinges cracking internally. Ink inscription (Miss Maud Carter, Pt. Rowan) on front free endpaper. Some chips and tears to front endpapers, thumbing throughout. Tear in bottom of rear page. Ink stamp on rear page has marked opposite page. A few clippings inserted at rear, poetry, not Columbian decorative art.
Designs from embroidery exhibited at the World's Fair eg. Scotch thistle, orange blossom centre piece, shamrock doyly, pin cushion in Honiton Roman embroidery.
