FIRST EDITION 1727, 8vo, approximately 200 x 120 mm, 7½ x 5 inches, pages: vi, 7-312, plus 8 unnumbered pages of index, bound in full calf, rebacked with original spine relaid, gilt lettered morocco title to spine, gilt rules and date to spine, new endpapers. Slight rubbing to binding, slight edge wear, small repair to blank side of title page, hardly visible, tip of title page missing, pale browning to title page, small neat repair to top corner of following page, not affecting text, top corner of page 255 neatly repaired, neat repair to top outer margin of 1 index page, not affecting text, 14 other small closed tears neatly repaired, not affecting text and hardly visible, occasional small spot, despite the repairs a very good clean copy.
