Limited to 500 copies of which this is number 145. 15 volumes in individual slipcases housed in outer slipcase. Illustrated by Quentin Blake, Nancy Ekholm Burkert, Donald Chaffin and others as originally published. Quarterbound in leather over patterned paper boards, gilt titles and gilt top edge. Individual slipcases are in matching patterned paper and all held in plain outer slipcase with ribbon pulls. Page marker silk ribbon in each volume. Outer slipcase has some faint marks, scuffs and fading, some inner slipcases very slightly rubbed to corners. Gilt lettering on some spines slightly faded. Several small stains to rear board of George's Marvelous Medicine, very small mark to fore-edge of The Magic Finger. Otherwise volumes fine. An attractive set. Illustrator: Blake, Quentin et al..
