All edges gilt. Marbled endpapers. Ribbon marker. Remarkable facsimile edition of Dr. Heberden's masterpiece. "Commentaries on the History and Cure of Diseases" (Commentarii de Morborum Historia et Curatione), though drawn up as early as 1782, were not published until 1802, a year after his death. Binding and interior in fine condition.
