Montreal & Kingston: McGill-Queen's University Press, 2006. First Edition. Octavo (24cm); black paper-covered boards, with titles stamped in silver on spine; dustjacket; xii, 567; illus. Inscribed on the front endpaper: "For Philip McFarland, Henn's best man + mine, Roy MacLaren / Toronto 2007." Crown gently nudged, two corners tapped (though still sharp); Near Fine in a Near Fine, lightly shelfworn dustjacket. MacLaren's "history of Canada's High Commission back to the years following the Confederation," inscribed by the politician to a close, personal friend.
