Albany, NY: Printed by Croswell, Barnum & Van Benthuysen, 1826. Book. Very good- condition. Unbound. Signed by Author(s). First Edition. Octavo (8vo). 54 pages of text. The pages are bound together by a simple double long-stitch, but there is no binding. Signed and inscribed by the author on the title page "Hon: J. W. Tayler with the respects of J. Tallmadge." John Tayler (1742-1829) was the Chancellor at this time, and James Tallmadge, Jr. (1778-1853) was the Chairman of the Committee and Lt. Governor of New York at the time, and had previously served in the Army during the War of 1812. The title page is worn, chipped, soiled, and lightly stained, with creasing, but remains intact. The entirety of the text is moderately foxed. First edition..
