Interior shows only minor handling spine is a tad faded as is the gilt on the spine. Internal binding is good, no hinge issues boards but there is a thin crack at the half title page. Pale blue end pages and front and rear show browning spotting. The half title page has original owners name and date very lightly written in pencil, this can be easily erased if desired. Paper is toned due to age and there is some spotting and foxing present though this appears to be limited to the pages near the boards, including the title page. The book did not get much reading as the last few sections of pages in the rear of the book are still uncut. The condition grade was lowered to VG because of the foxing around the frontispiece and a thin opening in the gutter at the half title page.… Read More

Green cloth covered boards with gilt title on front and black title on spine. Spine is darkened. Rough cut edges. some fraying to tail of spine and bumping to head of spine.
