Harcourt Brace and Company, 1959. Book. Good. Hardcover. 8vo - over 7¾" - 9¾" tall. Hardcover is a square and solid first edition signed by Carl Sanburg on front endpapers. Giilt-stamped, blue cloth boards are clean, binding is tight, text block is intact, pages are clean and text is unmarked Slight browning on endpapers and pastedowns, especially along hinge area and there is a light orange stain on top page edge. Price-clipped jacket is present with slight edgewear and significant foxing on back panel It is now protected in mylar and looks quite presentable. Will be carefully packaged and shipped with tracking and insurance..
