London Printing and Publishing Company, N/D (mid-19th Century) approx 11 1/8 X 8" in 3/4 Leathyer with green cloth covers. Marbled edges. Fancy gilt stamping along spine. Tips of leather corners worn away, esp. lower front corner. Front hinge cracked and front cover is just holding on. Although this book is titled complete works, it is apparently one of a set; it contains only the historical plays. Throughout the book are engraved illustrations (often listed as "from a Daguerreotype") of Mid-19th century actors Playing various roles from the plays.. Hardcover. Fair/No Jacket.
