Complete 25 volume set, in good condition. Green cloth covered boards with gold print on spine. Top edge gilt, and paper edges are rough cut. All volumes show wear - they are over 120 years old - including wear on the spines at the top; bumpsing of corners on boards; some lighter discolorations (spots) on boards. Volume 1 has the most wear, and includes weak hinges, but the binding is firm. Vol. 18 has tear in the fabric at the top of the spine. All volumes have small price tag on rear end paper from used bookstore. All volumes illustrated, with tissue paper protection on the frontispieces. 25 Volume set complete, Harper and Brothers Publishers, New York and London, 1904. Number of pages vary from approx. 250 to 750 per volume. 8vo (5.5" x 8.5) Contents: Vol. 1 and 2: Vanity Fair; Vol. 3 and 4: The Story of Pendennis; Vol. 5 and 6: The Memoirs of Mr. Charles J.
