London: Oxford University Press, 1963. Hardcover. Fine/No Dust Jacket as Issued. 6" x 8 1/2. FINE / NO DJ. In slipcase box. Note: book is in fine condition, slipcase box is in poor conodition. 1176 pp. Printed on Oxford India Paper, includes 32 full page plates of b/w photos from then-modern stage productions. Pages are pristine, no marks or damage. Only flaw is at front hinge, where paper covering is cracked, small piece of paper missing. Does not affect binding, which is completely intact and solid. Textblock is gilded on all three sides. Boards covered in red Morocco leather with gilt titling and lines. In like-new condition, no bumps, wear, or fading. Slipcase box is dark blue, and is very worn: rubbed to boards in many spots, spine-panel beginning to detatch from rest of box at top and bottom. Retains original information sticker on top side, including original price (6p).
