Fine-/G-VG. 15 Cms x 23.5 Cms. viii+153; private ex-lib. label to front pastedown, centre of half-title page has large browned square, presumably caused by an insert not vanished, otherwise internally clean, tight & unmakred in exceptionally bright, clean, unworn covers. Unclipped jackket clean but spine end rubbbing/chipping plus other minor rubbing and edge nicks (will add protective sleeve when ordered). Basically a philosophical analysis of the problems of describing anguage adequately, with reference to Quine, Carnap and others. Note: quoted shipping rates are calculated for 500-700 gram net weight, cost will be modified up or down as appropriate outside this range.
