A charming and readable book, made up of ornithologist's Brewster's field notes and diaries, of his observations of natural life in and around the Concord River in Massachusetts. This is an ex-library copy from the Sturgis Library in Barnstable, Massachusetts. Library marks include lettering and remains of a sticker on spine, 1938 bookplate, pocket, barcode, title page notations and stamps. Pasted down publisher's note from dustjacket on endpaper.
