A thriller set in 17th century Japan. Laura Joh Rowland is a detective and mystery author best known for her series of historical mystery novels set in the late days of feudal Japan, mostly in Edo during the late 17th century. Her protagonist is Sano Ichir . Exceptional Condition! Note that the paper used in these Headline volumes has a tendency to turn slightly brown (perhaps too much acidity?).
