Boston, MA: James R. Osgood and Company. Very Good. 1871. 2nd Edition. Hardcover. B&W Illustrations; SIGNED EDITION. This copy includes an inscription by the author on the front free page and a tipped in signature dated July 15, 1876. This is a second edition, with two additional stories not in the 1867 edition, with illustrations by S. Eytinge Jr. Following the previous edition with illustrations by Frank Bellew. This book is in Very Good condition. The book and its contents are in generally clean, bright condition. The covers have some light rubbing and edge wear along with several tiny edge nicks. The text pages are clean and bright. There is a three inch tear starting at the bottom edge of the front endpaper and traveling upwards. There is some loosening to the inner spine hinges and the front spine hinge has cracking starting. Included are: Handsome is as Handsome does, Lothaw, Muck-a-Muck, Terence Denville, Selina Sedilia, The Ninety-Nine Guardsmen, The Dweller of the Threshold, The Haunted Man, Miss Mix, Guy Heavystone, Mr. Midshipman Breezy, John, Jenkins, and more. ; Signed by Author .
