First edition of these selected literary satires on Marie Corelli, Rudyard Kipling, and others, including the case of "The Stolen Cigar Case," attributed to a tastefully redacted "A. CO--N D--LE." 6.75'' x 4.5''. Original blue cloth with gilt-stamped pictorial design by Decorative Designers. 236 pages, followed by publisher's advertisements. This copy from the library of noted actor and Sherlockian Curtis Armstrong, with his emboss to title page. Scuffing to spine ends, with some shallow loss at extremities; a bit of toning to spine.
