This is either a first edition or a very early reprint: Original blue cloth boards with printed label to spine, 7.00 x 4.5 inches approx. , some edge wear, generally clean and good, hinges a little weak, pagination unusual, main title page is followed by 'Advertisement' with a plain verso, then 'ii' is a quote from Hooker, the reveres of page ii becomes viii, and the next page is paginated ix, 95 page followed by rear endpaper and then publisher's advertisements, 8 sheets of advertisements. 'Uncut' page edges. The book is a philosophical essay from Coleridge on his approach to spiritual matters and religiion in his work. .
