About This Item

Boston: Little, Brown and Company, 1935 WYSIWYG pricing--no added shipping charge for standard shipping within USA. Olive ribbed cloth with gilt titles on spine and blind fillet on front board, xi, 346 pp, index. Titles a bit dull, top corners lightly bumped, bookplate on fpd, page 1 & facing blank browned by clippings tipped & laid in. Warren updated his history of the Supreme Court's powers of judicial review in the highly charged atmosphere surrounding the Court's rulings on New Deal legislation, which lead to a number of attempts to remove this power from the Court. Warren shows that this would allow the Congress to amend or abrogate the Constitution at will. Shipping weight 3 lbs.. Revised Ed, 1st Ptg. . VG+/No dj. 23½ X 15½ cm.

Terms of Sale

Twin City Antiquarian Books

Books are offered subject to prior sale. You may return any book within 14 days for a refund; if it was not as described, we will also refund return shipping costs (but please e-mail us first). You can place credit card orders through Biblio, or we will ship upon receipt of payment by check or money order. Sales tax is collected by Biblio and remitted directly to your state, where applicable. SHIPPING IN UNITED STATES: Books are priced postpaid, so there are no additional shipping charges for standard shipping. We will ship via Priority Mail for $12.00 per order (Save on multiple-book orders!). This may be reduced if actual postage is less than for a medium flat-rate box. INTERNATIONAL SHIPPING: In most cases, shipping via Biblio's consolidated shipping program via Asendia is the cheapest option on orders up to 5 lbs. International shipping rates are complex (cost depends upon weight and destination), so please feel free to email us for a quote before you order. If the actual cost of shipping is more than the automatically quoted rate, you must approve the additional charges before the order will be shipped. Shipping charges will be reduced if shipping weight is under 3 lbs. All shipping charges (except via Asendia) include 17% to cover Biblio fees and commissions that apply to these charges. LIBRARIES: We offer flexible terms to public and university libraries.
