Binding is sturdy and square. Mild offsetting to end papers and pastedowns from older Brodart cover. Small bookstore label on front pastedown. Extensive marginalia pencilled on last free end paper. In a very good plus, original, price clipped dust jacket which shows sunning at spine. Dust jacket now protected in a clear, removable, archival cover. Black and white plates, photos, and maps. xvi, 405 pp. Octavo, 6 1/4 x 9 1/4 inches tall.
