Loss of leather at the top of the spine above the title label, leather cracked at the spine edges, covers are secure- handle the front cover with a little care. Armorial bookplate of Geroge Miller on the endpaper, and later 1864 inscription on the end paper also. Original binders label still on the endpaper (Neil of Glasgow). Foxing mainly affecting the first and last few pages otherwise tidy internally. Pages; IV, 167. A look into marriage in Scotland, covering its history, law, types of marriage & more. Early 19th century engraving of the interior of the House of Lords loosely inserted. Size: 8vo - over 7¾" - 9¾" tall
