The Metropolitan Museum of Art / George Braziller, 1983. 1st Edition . Hardcover. Very Good/Very Good. 184 pages, with Introduction, Biographical Summary, Further Reading list. Foreword by Philippe de Montebello, then-director of the MMA. Reynolds was a British art historian and museum curator, expert on Constable's work.This book was published in conjunction with an MMA exhibition of the same title. The catalogue section is illustrated with color reproductions of the paintings. Almost square (9-1/4" x 10-3/16"), medium blue cloth with black lettering on spine, minimal shelf wear, faint foxing to rear end papers from laid-in newspaper clipping, erased pencil price on ffep, interior pages on satin-finish stock bright and unmarked. DJ has a one-inch area of wear along bottom of front panel and one mark by pen on rear flap. The laid-in clipping is from the TLS, a review of a 2002 exhibition book on Constable.
