John Murray, 1832. Leather Binding. Very Good/No Jacket. 8vo - over 7¾" - 9¾" 3 volumes, complete as issued. Attractively bound in full period 19th-century light brown polished calf, spines with raised bands and contrasting red and brown morocco labels, spines elaborately decorated with floral tooling in gilt, covers bordered in gilt, marbled edges and endpapers (some light general rubbing; marginal dampstaining to a very few pages; occasional foxing; ink inscription in one volume). Publication dates are 1839-1840. Spine titles: Hallam's Literature of Europe.
